Please do update if Omni decides to make any changes, especially the multiple tag feature.

Perspectives, a feature in OmniFocus allows you to customize to view your actions any way you want to look at getting them done. You can have more than one context, specific projects, whatever combination or "perspective" you can conjure up.

In OmniFocus you can nest task in task, in Things no...

good to see your post just now - i'm glad you gave this some serious thought too - I put the results of my own experiment here if anyone is interested.

I found the Things UI quite sexy too and grappled with "things" I couldn't do to the point I concluded Things did not have the capacity to scale the way I wanted it (though admittedly, I found this post looking for a way to create a 2nd OF library (without archiving) and use the secondary library for reference from my primary library)
